Our Orchestras
Dublin Youth Orchestras has been providing inspirational music-making opportunities for young musicians aged 9-20 for more than 40 years.

Our aim is to nurture the next generation of musicians in a supportive environment where making friends is just as important as achieving musical excellence. Playing in an orchestra creates unparalleled opportunities for young people to grow in confidence, to connect with others, develop resilience, understand the importance of commitment, and to establish a life-long love of orchestral music-making.
There are four orchestras in the DYO family:
Junior Strings
Musicians aged 9-12
Intermediate Orchestra
Musicians aged 11-15
Concert Orchestra
Musicians aged 13-17
Symphony Orchestra
Musicians aged 15-20
