Can you play your part?

DYO relies on subscriptions paid by parents, on donations and on the goodwill of volunteers to carry out its work. Your support is vital and will help ensure that young musicians can access inspirational opportunities to develop through music and social interaction as they move towards adult life.

Support an Access DYO Scholarship

Over the past four decades DYO has inspired thousands of young musicians to meet, play and perform to the highest standards of individual achievement. By encouraging and fostering a love of ensemble playing, the dedication required to learn an instrument is rewarded with the fun and joy of meeting other young musicians. We want to make sure that young people from all backgrounds can unlock their full potential at DYO.

A donation of €1,000 could support a musician on their DYO journey for one year by covering the cost of tuition, concert tickets, special events and a national tour.

Our Community of Supporters

As part of the DYO community, you can experience the impact of your support by taking advantage of priority booking for our Annual Gala Performance. You can also enjoy opportunities to meet other supporters and our music directors at special receptions and open rehearsals. Our supporters also receive acknowledgement in programme books and on our website.

Corporate Partnerships

It’s no secret that learning music and playing in an orchestra brings many social, personal and academic benefits to young people as they progress towards adulthood.

The largest organization of its kind in Ireland, DYO has been helping children and teenagers to learn and grow in confidence for more than 40 years.

Our bespoke supporter packages include opportunities to make a real difference to the work of one of Ireland’s most dynamic organisations for young musicians, alongside opportunities to engage your staff, clients and their families. Please contact us to explore opportunities to work together on projects of interest to your organisation.

DYO is registered as a non-profit on the Benevity Social Impact Volunteering Programme.
