Symphony Orchestra
The most senior of the four DYO orchestras, the Symphony Orchestra has around 70 members aged between 15 and 20.

Symphony Orchestra members perform to a more advanced level and work on challenging orchestral repertoire with their conductor Gavin Maloney. The Symphony Orchestra performs at the DYO Annual Gala Performance each year and represents Ireland on the world stage by performing in locations around Europe. In 2024 the Symphony Orchestra traveled to Portugal to proudly represent Ireland at Lisbon Music Fest.
